I had been building Spine myself for a while but noticed the most recent (1.2.16) errors during

because apparently my Cygwin environment doesn't seem to have the backtrace() function available for gcc; perhaps there is a Cygwin piece I need to add in order to build? The previous 1.2.15 builds fine as is.

Edit: Ugh, it seems this has been an issue since 2015 ... https://sourceware.org/legacy-ml/cygwin ... 00206.html

Edit 2021/05/28: This was fixed in this commit https://github.com/Cacti/spine/commit/c ... 5ea37c074a, it builds fine now. Thanks to the devs for fixing it!

It just stops there. This is a new installation on a brand new Windows machine. Earlier it did try to roll back to step 1, but then it just goes up to 73% and stays there. I did not select initial discovery, and I cleared the subnet value.

It seems the installation wizard has a logic bug, that it'll hang if the device where Cacti is being installed, does not have a snmp agent listening. So... as a work around, you'll need to ensure snmp with public community is listening during the install. Looks like this has been fixed in an upcoming cacti release.

Hello, I am getting a 404 file not found on both this windows installer and the one on the main page as well, is this a known issue? Also is there a package for the newest version of 1.2.18 for the Windows Cacti version?

Attempting to install BSOD's Cacti 1.2.18 Installer on Windows 10 21H1 on VMWare ESXi server with IIS (not Apache).

When I do the initial setup on http://localhost/cacti, The wizard becomes stuck on the Default Profile and Default Automation Network Page (http://localhost/cacti/install/install. ... la%22:true}) and will not proceed when I press the "Next" button

Any advice on how to see any debug error messages or how to progress past this stage is greatly appreciated.

Looks like your "Network Range" isn't valid. There should be no spaces in it I believe.

So this is the current cacti I have installed 1.2.18. Everything has worked great because I used the one that was put together and works like a charm.
However, the only issue I am having now is trying to create graphs. I get this error:

Graph not created for cacti stats - Boost run time due to bad data

I have looked at this to go into line 1728 on template.php since I couldn't find it in lib/function.php I take it I am looking in the wrong place?
I just can't seem to correct the issue and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

At least that was what a few people had suggested since it worked for them.

ok, so I managed to correct the issue with trying to create a graph. That part now works.

The only problem I am having now is this:

Error: opening C:/Apache24/htdocs/cacti/rra/cacti_server_boost_peak_memory_4.rdd

System cannot find the file specified.

That is the only issue I am having with the graphs section. Everything else has been running fine.

when i check snmpwalk from my cacti server to Windows Server, i can see the response with OID and CPU ...
but i dont know how to create graph to monitor the Windows Server CPU.
i already searched with google but dont have any guideline.

This really has nothing to do with this thread.
But monitoring CPU from a Windows device is as simple as on any other OS that supports SNMP.
(you will have to install SNMP agent service on windows).
SNMP - Get Processor Information template is by default included in Cacti.
You add the device in cacti with the correct network and SNMP settings. Select generic "SNMP-enabled device"(or first create a new "Device Templates" called "Windows host" or something like that with "SNMP - Get Processor Information" included) as a "Device Templates" and add "SNMP - Get Processor Information" as a data query.
It should automatically list all CPU cores, and then you could "Create Graphs for this Device" at the top right to "graph" the CPU usage per core or CPUTotal.
